What the Alliance does

The App Defense Alliance is an industry initiative that develops open security standards for mobile, web, desktop, and cloud applications, with AI agents and tools under development.

The Alliance's Steering Committee identifies which standards to develop, which are then refined by member organizations and released through a transparent, consensus-driven process.

Certification is carried out by independent labs, giving developers, platforms, and policymakers a clear path to evaluate application security.
